Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Flask developer to troubleshoot and resolve a redirection issue in our existing web application. The successful candidate will have a strong background in web development with a focus on Python and Flask, and will be able to ensure users are correctly redirected to the index page after login.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve the redirection issue occurring after user login in a Flask web application.
Ensure seamless redirection to the index page for both OAuth and GUI logins.
Review and update relevant Flask routes and session management to ensure proper handling of redirects.
Debug and enhance existing code to follow best practices and improve overall application performance.
Collaborate with our team to understand the existing codebase and workflow.
Implement logging and error handling to facilitate future troubleshooting.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Python and Flask framework.
Strong understanding of web application routing and session management.
Experience with OAuth2 authentication and integration in web applications.
Familiarity with Flask extensions such as Flask-Login and Flask-SQLAlchemy.
Proficient in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their integration with Flask.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Experience with Nginx configuration is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in web development using Flask.
Proven track record of successfully completing similar projects.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
