Experienced Electrical Engineer for Raspberry Pi PLC Optimization in Dehydrator Systems

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer with expertise in Raspberry Pi and Python programming to address and resolve a series of issues in our industrial dehydrator systems currently operated by Raspberry Pi PLCs. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and optimizing our system to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and stabilize temperature fluctuations in the PLC system.
Calibrate temperature and infeed speed sensor readings for accuracy.
Address and resolve frequent program crashes and touch screen interface issues.
Optimize and standardize the wiring schematic.
Provide detailed documentation of all solutions implemented.
Requirements:
Proven experience in electrical engineering, especially with Raspberry Pi PLCs.
Proficient in Python programming and system diagnostics.
Ability to simulate or extrapolate data for Raspberry Pi PLC, as we currently lack a physical device for testing.
Ability to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Project Duration:
The project must be completed by the end of December, ahead of the holiday season.
Payment Structure:
The payment will be milestone-based, divided into 3-4 phases.
A bonus will be awarded for high-quality work and timely completion.
Potential for Future Employment:
Successful and efficient completion of the project may lead to a job offer with the option to work from home.
