Execute Python on IBM Quantum for Cryptography
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for an experienced freelancer to assist in setting up and running IBM Quantum to execute a Python script that requires access to IBM Quantum hardware. I have a limited time (10 minutes) to use IBM Quantum's cloud services, so efficiency is key. Here’s the outline of what needs to be done:
Responsibilities:
IBM Quantum Setup: Set up the IBM Quantum environment, including registering an account with IBM Quantum if necessary and configuring access to their quantum processors (e.g., IBM Marrakesh 156-qubit system).
Run Python Script: Run an existing Python script that utilizes IBM Quantum's cloud services for quantum computations. This script may involve interfacing with IBM’s Quantum backends via Qiskit or another appropriate framework.
Efficiency: As I have a 10-minute window to run quantum jobs, you should ensure that everything is configured to run within this timeframe and that the Python script executes without issues during the session.
Requirements:
IBM Quantum (IBMQ) Setup: Experience with setting up IBM Quantum, including using the IBM Q Experience and IBMQ account for quantum job submissions.
Qiskit Knowledge: You should have hands-on experience with Qiskit (the IBM Quantum SDK) and the IBM Quantum ecosystem, including submitting and monitoring quantum jobs via the IBM Quantum cloud platform.
Experience with Quantum Computing: A general understanding of how to interface with quantum processors, setup quantum jobs, and ensure results are returned properly.
Python Expertise: Proficiency in Python programming and understanding of how quantum programs are executed via cloud backends.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with IBM Quantum's available quantum processors (156-qubit systems like IBM Marrakesh, etc.)
Knowledge of the process for registering and using IBMQ accounts in Qiskit
Ability to troubleshoot and ensure quantum programs run smoothly under tight time constraints
Quick problem-solving skills to ensure a smooth 10-minute run on IBMQ
If you are interested in this job, please include any relevant experience with quantum computing, particularly with IBM Quantum, and provide an estimate of the time required to set up the environment and run the script.
