Enhancement and Troubleshooting Request for Python App Specialized in Vehicle Classification and Data Reporting

I am seeking an experienced Python developer who can work on enhancing and resolving issues with my application. This application is developed in Python and is aimed at counting and classifying vehicles and then exporting the results into an Excel sheet.
There are two specific issues that need to be addressed:
OCR Optimization: The application is currently facing difficulties with Optical Character Recognition (OCR). Several attempts and refreshing are required for it to function properly. I have recorded a video which demonstrates the issues in detail, which will be provided to you for a better understanding of the problem. The goal is to refine the OCR process so that it becomes more reliable and efficient.
Session Continuity and Crash Recovery: The application has been observed to crash after being operational for a certain period. Upon restarting, it reinitiates from the beginning rather than resuming from where it was interrupted. The requirement is to implement a session continuity feature which would enable the application to track its progress and recover from where it left off in case of a crash or unintentional closure.
Other than addressing the aforementioned issues, an overall review and optimization of the application's code for performance and reliability improvements is expected.
Deliverables:
A fully functional Python application that efficiently performs OCR.
Implementation of a session continuity feature.
Well-commented source code.
Documentation detailing the changes made and instructions on how to use the updated application.
A brief report explaining the approach taken to solve the issues.
