Enhance Python Script

Hello, i have a python script which will connect to a RDS Oracle AWS , the input here will be a .sql file and the output should be the inputfilename+.txt format, so currently i am hardcodin input file name and output file for testing but i want it to accept arguments from the shell. such as the db username, password, input file name
Need it in one day.
