Electron + React + Python Application

I need an example of how to set up React with a Python backend executing locally inside of an Electron environment. We will be using it to parse local files from the file system and perform analysis.
The method of interacting with Python should be the most simple, but is up to you.
We will provide a Github repository for work upon selection.
This should take 10 hours or less, it is a simple prototype.
