Django Software Engineer - Ecommerce

Looking for an experienced developer for a 8-12-month project. You will work alongside another experienced, full-stack engineer for this project. This contract includes multiple goals and sub-projects. Must be experienced with Python/Django, MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, and JQuery. Please note we are building new features and optimizing for an ecommerce company that has already been created, not a new build. This task is primarily backend-focused.

Required Experience

Experience creating/integrating a Django API and Admin panel
Experience working with others
Elasticsearch experience is welcomed but not required
Experience in making architectural and optimization recommendations
Prior experience with Scrum is a plus
JIRA knowledge is a plus
Prior experience with continuous integration is a plus
Experience with GIT source control
MySQL experience and working with the Django ORM
HTML/CSS/JQuery knowledge is a plus
