Django React Full stack developer, ongoing cooperation

About us
Gradingly is a UK-based startup operating in the Ed-Tech domain. Our platform will contain thousands of exercises coupled with automatic grading tools and a recommender system, helping people to learn and teach the English language.
We're now seeking Full Stack Developers with a key focus on Django and React to join our international team. You will work from home on a freelance basis. You will start as a part-time team member (10-15 hrs a week) with the possibility of expanding to a full-time role.
About You
You will be able to work effectively remotely in an international environment. You will be a core member of the engineering team and have a significant contribution to the design, development and support of new features and functionality.
You must be able to communicate fluently in English, be able to think out of the box and display a can-do attitude to meet deadlines.
Roles and Responsibilities
Taking part and actively contributing in planning and designing meetings.
Analysing technical requirements of new functionality and features.
Suggesting the best and practical solutions.
Working on the back and front-end development.
Delivering a high-quality code as per committed schedules.
Candidate Profile
Minimum 4 years experience developing applications writing high-performance production-quality code in the Django Python framework, React and Django REST APIs
Key requirements:
Proven recent experience in Django
Previous exposure to Postgress
Proven recent experience in developing front-end applications with React
Experience using React Hooks in production applications
Proven capability in designing APIs and working with Django/REST APIs endpoints
Experience developing to UI/UX
Broad knowledge of Cloud (AWS)
Exposure to git, testing frameworks and continuous integration.
Strong grounded computer science and engineering fundamentals including, data structures, solution design, architecture, and design patterns
Excellent written, verbal communication and collaboration skills
Awareness of adequate security and data privacy
Not required but beneficial
Previous experience in building learning applications, quizzes or assessment systems
Previous experience with data visualisations libraries e.g. D3.js
