Django App Memory optimization in Kubernetes
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
With this project, I'm looking to optimize memory usage in my Django application. Primarily, three aspects need attention:
1. Database Queries: Currently, there are some unnecessary database queries running, which might be eating up memory resources. Your task would be to optimize these queries for minimal memory consumption.
2. Media Files Handling: My application handles a significant amount of media files, roughly around 2GB. These files are accessed and updated infrequently (less than once a day), but due to their large size, memory optimization is crucial in their handling process.
3. Libraries Usage: The app is loaded with multiple libraries, causing memory pressure. I need an introspection of each, identify non-essential ones, and remove them as part of the optimization process.
The ideal freelancer for this task should have advanced knowledge and experience working with Django, database optimization, media handling, and Kubernetes environment. Your understanding of resource-efficient programming will be your major plus on this project.
