Job Proposal: AI Dashboard for Disease Outbreak Prediction
Project Overview: We propose developing a basic AI-powered dashboard to predict disease outbreaks by analyzing historical and real-time data, specifically utilizing datasets provided by the World Health Organization (WHO). The goal is to create an accessible and functional dashboard that offers early warnings for potential disease outbreaks, enabling users to monitor global health trends and prepare for potential public health crises.

Scope of Work:
Dashboard Design and Development

User Interface: The dashboard will have a clean, easy-to-navigate interface that displays disease outbreak predictions, historical trends, and risk assessments.
Key Features:
Disease Prediction: Using basic machine learning models (e.g., linear regression or decision trees), the dashboard will forecast the likelihood of disease outbreaks based on historical data.
Global Disease Tracking: Real-time tracking of diseases using WHO datasets, with a focus on major outbreaks such as flu, COVID-19, and other infectious diseases.
Historical Data Visualization: Graphs and charts to show trends of disease spread over time and forecast future patterns.
Alerts and Notifications: Basic alerts to warn users of possible outbreaks in specific regions, based on the model's predictions.
Data Sources and Integration

WHO Datasets: The project will leverage publicly available WHO datasets containing information on disease outbreaks, including historical data on the spread of diseases like influenza, COVID-19, and others.
Data Preprocessing: The data will be cleaned and formatted for machine learning purposes, ensuring the AI models can process it effectively. The focus will be on diseases with the most available and reliable data.
AI Model Development

Basic Predictive Modeling: The AI model will be kept basic, using standard algorithms like logistic regression or decision trees to predict the likelihood of disease outbreaks. This will ensure that the model is easy to understand, interpret, and integrate into the dashboard while staying within budget.
Training the Model: The model will be trained on WHO's historical outbreak data to predict the likelihood of future outbreaks based on various factors like location, time of year, and historical trends.
Deployment and Maintenance

Web-based Dashboard: The AI dashboard will be deployed on a simple, secure web platform, ensuring easy access for users.
Updates and Maintenance: Regular updates to the dataset and model improvements will be made periodically to ensure accuracy. The initial dashboard will be a basic version, with the option to scale or enhance features in the future.
Budget Breakdown (Approx. $200):
AI Model Development: ~$100
This includes the basic machine learning model development, training with WHO datasets, and integration into the dashboard.

Dashboard Design and Development: ~$60
This includes the creation of the user interface, integration of features (graphs, disease predictions, alerts), and deployment on a web platform.

Data Preprocessing and API Integration: ~$40
This includes the preparation and cleaning of WHO datasets and integration of data sources into the dashboard..
