Dimension reduction

I have a data matrix. In its column, there are ten indicators (variables) and in rows, there are 50 options. I want to reduce the variables using a method such as Lasso and PCA.
(I have doubts about the method you can also suggest the best method you know). Then It should be done in software such as Matlab or Python.
