About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to build and optimize the backend architecture for our AI-driven Smart Travel Assistant. You will develop APIs that connect the frontend with AI-powered travel recommendations, booking systems, and real-time data sources.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Develop backend infrastructure that integrates AI models and third-party travel APIs (e.g., Kayak, Hotels.com).
✅ Build RESTful APIs & WebSockets to ensure seamless communication between the frontend and AI services.
✅ Optimize data flow between user queries, AI-generated responses, and external APIs.
✅ Deploy and manage AI models using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
✅ Work with cloud-based databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase) for real-time data processing.
✅ Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the backend infrastructure.
Required Skills
✔ Backend Development: Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django) or Node.js.
✔ AI Integration: Experience calling AI models via APIs (OpenAI, DeepSeek, LLMs).
✔ API Development: RESTful APIs, GraphQL, OAuth, WebSockets.
✔ Cloud & Databases: AWS/GCP/Azure, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase.
✔ Scalability & Optimization: Caching, asynchronous processing, load balancing.
✔ Bonus: Experience in travel-related APIs (Skyscanner, Expedia, Amadeus, Google Flights API).
