To Develop a program to run on a Linux Science Cluster

We have a need for a programmer that has skills in Python, Python notebooks and the linux operating system. The objective of the work in Python is to write a Graphical User Interface for a simulator code that will read in a number of text files and output analysis results in both graphical (matplotlib, plotly, etc.) and text format. The programmer should also be familiar with gdal libraries and capabilities to be able to use the code to represent simulator output in a geographical context (e.g. satellite ground tracks projected into different map projections). The objective of the work in linux will be to write and test a scripting interface to the simulator code that will allow it to be run in a batch process.
