Develop a desktop app (back-end and front-end)
Budget: £5,000 – £10,000 GBP
We are looking for developers who can create a desktiop application with a modern-looking GUI. The application consists of a numeric simulation that provides the user with various degrees of flexibility to load customized datasets, visualize them, and display different results from the resulting simulations (it should be highly interactive). The simulator has been written in Python, but we are open to options to refactor it into a language that is more suitable for the deployment of the application. The GUI is critical for the application as it will be used by policymakers around the world. The development of the app will be part of a process where the developer(s) will engage with policymakers (through a couple of workshops) in order to receive feedback regarding the design and the implementation of the application.
At this stage of recruitment, we are looking for portfolios that showcase the experience of the candidate developer(s). Once shortlisted, we can have a conversation regarding further details about the application and the development process in order for you to provide an initial quote.
