About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Part-Time DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, CI/CD, and monitoring tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our development and deployment pipelines, ensuring system reliability, and maintaining thorough documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on Kubernetes (K8s)
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Manage containerized applications using Docker
• Collaborate using GitHub for version control and project collaboration
• Implement and maintain monitoring using ThousandEyes and LogicMonitor
• Set up and manage logs, alerts, and dashboards
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for processes and systems
Requirements:
• Proficiency with GCP and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Strong experience with Docker, GitHub, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like ThousandEyes and LogicMonitor
• Experience with log management and alert configuration
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across the stack
• Good communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have:
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
• Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, etc.)
