Design a linear regression
Budget: £18 – £36 GBP
I work for SuSeWi, a biotech start-up company that grows algae for food, and I am currently completing a project that assesses the growth rate of different species of algae at different temperatures.
I have been sent an Excel file that explores growth rates based on the mean and median of cell counts and Fo fluorescence. The goal is to take a set of observed growth rates (measured by a LabSTAF sensor and Nikon microscope), and design a Python script that returns a set of optimised growth rate values using an equation that has been devised by the Director of Research.
I have managed to set up the optimised values as the basis for my plot. I am now looking to design a linear regression that plots the observed growth rates against the optimised growth rates as a scatter at the temperature datapoints, and reports the slope, intercept and r-squared (ideally I would like to have include all 3 of these on the graph, but at the very least, it will need to have the two growth rate types). Because I am working with multiple datasets, it would also be helpful to assign these to different variables, so that I can refer back to them to make one plot that compares each of the datasets together. I have tried as best as I can on my own to consult online and video tutorials, and external support elsewhere, but I am struggling to complete these steps, and it is imperative that I find someone who can help me complete this task quickly.
I do not expect this support to take more than half a day in total. But do let me know if you think it would be more.
Let me know if you can support me with this and how much you would charge for this. It would be preferable if you can come and work with me on this in person (I work in Camden), but I am also happy to set up a video call where appropriate to discuss further.
