Depression Severity Assessment Tool Creation
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
This is the problem statement for my machine learning project
1. first of all we have to take answers from users onto website based on these questions.
2. Ensure users can select one response per question.
3.will add a “Submit” button that triggers the scoring logic.
4. Display results immediately on the same page or redirect to a results page with the severity assessment.
5.When the form is submitted, calculate the score by summing up the values from each question.
6. Classify the total score into severity categories:
1-4: Minimal depression
5-9: Mild depression
10-14: Moderate depression
15-19: Moderately severe depression
20-27: Severe depression
7.If the score indicates moderate depression or higher (score of 10+), prompt the user to check their cortisol levels.
8.we will create a separate input field where the user can manually enter their cortisol level after taking a blood test.
9.Compare the input cortisol level to medically accepted thresholds (typically around 6-23 µg/dL in the morning; actual levels vary by age, lab standards, etc.)
10.If cortisol is above the threshold, indicate that this might suggest stress, which could correlate with depression.
11.display a recommendation for the user to seek professional help.
So the dataset is provided along with a pdf which consists of the questions to be asked and their respective score is given and also the ranges of the result for detecting the severity of depression.Do check the pdf and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me
