I'm seeking an experienced backend developer to build an image processing API. You can use either Python or Node.js, and leverage libraries such as OpenCV, PIL, or Huginor, whichever you choose.
Core Requirements:
- Receive 12 to 21 images from different angles.
- Generate a seamless 360-degree equirectangular image.
- Return the stitched image in .jpg or .png via API response or downloadable URL.
- Implement basic error handling for missing/misaligned images.
- Optional: Validate images for correct format and orientation.
Deliverables:
- Fully functional REST API with clear documentation.
- Setup and deployment instructions (Docker preferred).
- Source code and dependencies shared via GitHub or similar.
