Data Statistical Analyst and Excel Macro VBA for Football Results
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I am looking for a Data & Statistical Analyst with experience in Excel Macro VBA to help me with my football results project.
Specifically, I need someone who can optimize which predictions to take on match outcomes based on prediction models and excel data through statistical analysis.
-I currently have 3 working Python generated prediction models (Multiple Excel output files by League).
-Each model has different predictions
-I have excel calculation for XG for each team. Manual input
REQUIREMENT:
-Put all the data together in 1 place (Excel or Python)
-Create macro's to automate manual input to calc XG in excel. Requires taking historical data and using the current template to allow numerous calcs and outputs. All templates provided, but logic needs to be created in optimised way so it can run daily
-Using STATS analysis to determine what bets to put on to maximise P&L. ie using all the data available above to filter bets to maximise P&L. Using a filtering or stats model. this logic needs to be created.
ie i have 3 models that predict Match A (Say H,H,D). Available in excel CSV by league
i then have XG for each team (that predicts D). Needs automation to drop results for each match
i have the actual result of the game. In excel CSV
-Using the above i want a data model that ignore certain games & selects games to bet on for up coming fixtures.
-For example using historical data. If odds are > XXX do not trade. or if team has lost last YYY games do not trade. or if team A is playing at H and odds are XXX then trade.
all the above should be from a stats model using the data provided. Can be filtering or other stats logic of correlation of distribution.
The Excel Macro should be written in VBA.
The output format I would like the macro to produce is an ongoing report in excel.
Ideal skills and experience for this job include:
- Strong statistical analysis background
- Proficiency in Excel Macro VBA
- Knowledge of football data analysis
- Experience in match outcome prediction
- Ability to create ongoing reports.
- Excellent communication
