Data Engineer
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
Using SQL and Python programming languages, create and maintain optimal ETL and data pipeline architecture,
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements from a variety of data sources to the AWS Data Lake
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
Maintain the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS 'big data' technologies.
Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
Help design and maintain the Power BI platform leveraging a development, testing, and production environments.
Support analytics teams with their development in Power BI.
Support with development of "citizen developer" applications, supporting the necessary data needs for these projects.
Work with IT team to ensure data is secure and programming processes support security of data.
Pitch in with IT colleagues in rolling out new systems and technology initiatives to the enterprise.
Work with stakeholders and various teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
