Project Title:
Development of a Modular Dark Web Monitoring Agent (Python-based, OSINT + TOR)
Project Description:
We are seeking a top-tier Python developer with proven experience in cyber threat intelligence, dark web crawling, and OSINT automation to build an advanced monitoring agent called DarkNet Intel Agent.
The goal of this agent is to detect cyber threats targeting a specific organization by monitoring:
The darknet (TOR hidden services)
The deep web
The public internet, including paste sites and messaging channels.
This project is part of a larger cyber intelligence platform used by security analysts and MSSPs.
Core Capabilities Required:
1. Source Monitoring:
Crawl TOR sites (hidden services: forums, dumps, marketplaces) using stem and requests[socks]
Monitor Pastebin, Ghostbin, Telegram channels
Use APIs: Shodan, Censys, and Google Dorking for exposed assets
2. Natural Language Processing (NLP):
Use SpaCy or NLTK for contextual keyword extraction
Eliminate false positives using semantic filtering
Multilingual support (Hebrew + English)
3. Threat Classification:
Categorize findings by severity: Critical / High / Medium / Low
Correlate with MITRE ATT&CK framework techniques
4. Alerting and Reporting:
Real-time alerts via Slack, Teams, and Email
Weekly executive reports in PDF and HTML format using Jinja2 + WeasyPrint
5. Architecture:
Fully modular with plugin support (e.g., separate classes for Telegram, TOR, Pastebin)
Configurable via YAML (no need to modify code to change sources or keywords)
Clean and secure async architecture using asyncio and aiohttp
All credentials stored securely and full audit trail for API access
6. Integration:
Provide webhooks and support for SIEM systems (Elastic, Splunk)
Tech Stack:
Python 3.11+
Asyncio / Aiohttp
SpaCy or NLTK
Stem, requests[socks]
Jinja2 + WeasyPrint
Slack SDK, pymsteams, smtplib
YAML + Pydantic for config
Deliverables:
Full source code in a clean modular structure
Deployment instructions (README)
Sample config file (YAML)
Documentation (internal structure + plugin dev guide)
Bonus Points:
Experience working with darknet threat intel or LEA tools
Previous work on OSINT automation
Ability to provide working demo and test cases
Budget & Timeline:
Estimated timeline: 3–5 weeks
Budget: Open to proposals (fixed price preferred)
To apply, please share:
Relevant GitHub repositories or portfolio
Short explanation of how you would approach the TOR + OSINT integration
Tools or frameworks you’d use for NLP and alerting
