Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled individual who can build and run data scraping tools/scripts, extract valuable data, and deliver clean, organized datasets. You should be comfortable working with web scraping technologies, automation tools, and basic data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Scrape, extract, and compile data from websites, public databases, and online platforms.
• Build and manage scraping scripts or tools (using Python, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, or similar).
• Clean, organize, and validate large datasets for accuracy.
• Monitor scraping activities and adjust scripts to overcome blocks or site changes.
• Deliver datasets in structured formats (Excel, CSV, JSON, etc.).
• Maintain data privacy standards and comply with scraping best practices.
Qualifications:
• Strong experience with web scraping tools and techniques (e.g., Python, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium).
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and website structures.
• Ability to handle CAPTCHAs, proxies, and other scraping challenges.
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with large datasets and data cleaning.
• Familiarity with APIs and automated data collection methods is a plus.
