DaVinci Resolve Scripting Expert Wanted

Job ID: 39020820

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

I need a DaVinci Resolve scripting expert to help update timecodes inside the for video clips in my currently selected bins and recursive sub-bins of the mediapool. This update should be based on two options:

Option A: A timecode offset I will provide
Option B: If no offset is provided, the timecode should default to the file modification date.

The original files are untouched, it's only the clips timecode clipAttributes inside Davinci which are updated

The timecode offset will be in + or - HH:MM:SS:FF format.

Option A : timecode offset
of the form --offset +00:02:03:05 or --offset -00:02:03:05 to add or substract 02 minutes, 03 seconds, and 05 frames to the currently existing timecode of each of the clips

option B : based on modification date
the end timecode of the clip should match the file modification time (mtime)
So, if a shot mtime is 13:34:20 (13 hours, 34 minutes, 20 seconds) and has a duration of 20 seconds, its start timecode should be 13:34:00:00 (13 hours, 34 minutes, 0 seconds, 0 images)

The framerate used to do timecode calculations should be the actual frame rate of each of the clips (might be different for each clip), read from the clipItem getAttributes

(*) Timecode
What is timecode? It's a time marker, written like so : HH:MM:SS:xx ; where HH = hours 2 digits, MM = mn 2 digits ; SS = seconds 2 digits ; xx : frame number 2 digits
for instance 10:09:08:07 is 10 hours, 09 minutes, 08 seconds, and 07 frames

The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in scripting for DaVinci Resolve, with extensive experience working on a macOS platform. Your expertise should allow you to efficiently handle this task, ensuring I can continue my editing with minimal disruption.
