About Us

We are a Solar EPC service provider engaged in Design, Installation, Commissioning, and O&M services for Grid-Connected Solar Power Plants.
As part of our digital transformation, we want to develop our own in-house SCADA / Remote Monitoring System for solar plants.

Project Objective

To design and develop a custom SCADA-based Remote Monitoring System for solar power plants that enables real-time monitoring, analytics, alerts, and reporting.

Scope of Work

The freelancer will be responsible for end-to-end development, including:

1. Data Acquisition

Integration with inverters, meters, weather sensors, SCBs, PLC/RTU

Protocols: Modbus RTU / TCP, MQTT, OPC (preferred)

2. SCADA & Dashboard Development

Real-time plant monitoring (DC/AC parameters)

Plant-wise and inverter-wise dashboards

Interactive charts & graphs (generation, PR, CUF, losses)

3. Monitoring & Analytics

Energy generation (Daily / Monthly / Yearly)

Performance Ratio (PR), CUF

Equipment health monitoring

Fault & alarm management

4. Alerts & Notifications

SMS / Email / WhatsApp alerts for faults & underperformance

Threshold-based alarms

5. Reports

Auto-generated reports (Daily / Monthly / Annual)

Downloadable PDF / Excel reports

Client-wise and plant-wise reporting

6. User Management

Multi-level access (Admin, O&M Team, Client)

Role-based dashboards

7. Deployment & Support

Cloud or on-premise deployment

API architecture for future expansion

Documentation & basic training

Preferred Technology Stack (Flexible)

Backend: Python / Node.js / Java

Frontend: React / Angular / Vue

Database: PostgreSQL / MySQL / Time-Series DB (InfluxDB preferred)

SCADA/IoT: Ignition, ThingsBoard, Grafana, or custom solution


Freelancer Requirements

Proven experience in SCADA / IoT / Solar Monitoring Systems

Experience with solar plant data & inverter integrations

Strong understanding of O&M requirements

Ability to deliver scalable and secure architecture
