We are seeking an experienced Python developer familiar with Plotly Dash and API integrations to create a web-based chatbot application. The primary objective is to have a user-friendly interface where users can interact with a chatbot powered by ChatGPT. This chatbot must be able to send API calls with customizable contexts.
Requirements:
Frontend:
Use Plotly Dash to create a simple and intuitive UI. Should look complete and user friendly.
The main interface should have a chatbox area where users can send and receive messages.
A sidebar or separate section where users can specify and customize the context for the ChatGPT model.
Input validation and error handling for user messages.
Backend:
Integrate with the ChatGPT API.
Implement a system to send messages with a customizable context to the ChatGPT model. Should include instructions on changing the Model between GTP-4, turbo, etc...
Handle API responses and display them to the user in the chatbox.
Keep conversation context for at least ten messages
API Integration:
Properly handle rate limits, error messages, and other API related contingencies.
Securely manage API keys or authentication mechanisms.
Set max tokens at 5000 and 5000 as max input length.
Documentation & Instructions:
Provide a comprehensive documentation detailing:
How to set up the project locally.
Any dependencies or requirements.
How to integrate the ChatGPT API, including where to place API keys or credentials.
Comments in the code for clarity and maintainability.
Deliverables:
Full source code of the Plotly Dash application.
Comprehensive documentation and setup instructions.
A demo or screencast showcasing the working application. I don't care if you make something from scratch or find a working product and make the modifications for this project. I am looking for something similar to https://meowapps.com/ai-engine/, although does not need all the features.
