Convert python script to javascript

I am looking for someone to convert a python script to JavaScript. The bridge-style code linked below is built using python. The script simply converts an ESRI .LYRX document into a GeoStyler format, both of which are JSON. I am looking to use this script as an example to build the same functionality in JavaScript.
