I'm looking for a skilled data scraper to help me gather information on company directors from public databases.
The ideal freelancer for this project should have extensive experience with data scraping, particularly from public databases. Proficiency in Excel is a must, as is an understanding of how to structure data for ease of use and analysis.
We have an incomplete dataset of companies that requires filling missing Director Identification Numbers (DINs) and Director Names. The freelancer will scrape data from public databases, specifically falconebiz.com and zaubacorp.com, using Company Identification Numbers (CINs) or Company Names.
Requirements:
- Scrape 1- 20 DINs and Names for each company.
- Update the data in an Excel spreadsheet.
- Process 1000+ companies daily.
- Scrape data specifically on Director Identification Numbers (DIN) and Director Names.
- Deliver the final data in an Excel spreadsheet format.
Deliverables:
Completed Excel file with all required director information.

Project Task: Filling Missing DIN and Director Names
Objective:
Our task is to complete an Excel sheet by filling in missing DIN (Director Identification Number) and Director Names based on the CIN (Company Identification Number) or Company Name. We aim to ensure data accuracy and completeness for each company listed.
Data Sources:
Primary Website: Falconebiz (www.falconebiz.com)
Secondary Website: Zaubacorp (www.zaubacorp.com)
Process:
Search for Company Data:
First, use the CIN (preferred) or Company Name to search the company data on the above websites.
Copy and paste the CIN or Company Name into the website’s search bar, hit search, and refresh the page as needed.
Extract Director Information:
Once the company data appears, look for the Director Name and corresponding DIN.
For each company, aim to find and add 1 or 2 Directors (DIN + Director Name).
If the company has only one director, add only one.
If the data is missing or an error occurs (e.g., "Company Not Found"), try to gather more data, but if unavailable, skip that company.
Input Data into Excel:
Match the extracted DIN and Director Names with the correct CIN in the Excel file.
Enter the DIN1 and Director_Name_1 for the first director, and if applicable, DIN2 and Director_Name_2 for the second director.
Key Points:
Prioritize using CIN for searching.
Add a maximum of 2 Directors per company.
Skip companies where data is not available or errors occur.
