Chinese OCR Software Creation
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I require expert assistance in developing a small software designed to recognize and analyze simplified Chinese sentences such as the phrase "今天我去学校", which translates to "Today I go to school". The software will be used on the Windows operating system.
The software should ideally display proficiency in the following features:
- Optimal OCR function to recognize simplified Chinese characters with an emphasis on punctuation.
- Capability to link recognized characters to flashcard images (recognized based on my pre-inputted recognizable Chinese OCR words) which I will provide.
- Python development skills are preferred for this project, so expertise in this language would be advantageous.
Your comprehension of Chinese character recognition systems should be solid to understand the requirement better, but not compulsory
Proficiency in Python or any language possible (as long as less bug and easy to manuvre) and experience with optical character recognition are paramount. Previous experience in software development focusing on language learning tools will be highly appreciated. Creativity and the ability to work independently are also key attributes for this project's success.
