Chart visual using Python or R that sources from Google Sheets and saves the final product as an image

I have a public Google Sheet that I need rendered as a data visualization chart using Python or R (prefer R for this, but Python also works), then saved as an image. Basically the process looks like Google Sheet-> Python/R program that converts the information from the Sheet into a chart visual -> Saves as an image in the Downloads folder. The idea is I would be able to update the Google Sheet then use the Program to convert the information into the Chart which would be saved.
