Celery / RabbitMQ Expert for Modernizing Existing Project

Job ID: 32931869

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

We are looking for an expert in Celery / RabbitMQ to update our existing code base which started as Celery 3. We have been upgrading along the way but have not fully taken advantage of the newer features in that might help us increase our performance, reduce errors and better handle our business logic.

We need someone who can review our code, make recommendations on how to better utilize Celery / RabbitMQ and help us make the needed code changes in a stable and manageable way.

Understanding of overall business processes and logic, troubleshooting difficult issues such as race conditions and being able to understand how Celery and RabbitMQ fit into the larger system are all desired. Prior experience refactoring code is also desired.

Clear communication is critical to project success. This position will require at least weekly video conferences with our team to discuss ideas, issues and solutions to our challenges.

Interviews for this position will be held via videoconference using Google Meet. We will decline any proposal if the candidate is unable to appear on camera in a videoconference interview. We will hold meetings between 5-9 p.m. U.S. Eastern time. In addition, once the project is underway we will hold regular meetings via videoconference to discuss development progress, discuss any issues or decisions that need to be made, and outline next steps. We will also require a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to beginning work on our project.

We are open to working with agencies but we will require a video interview with each person who will be working on our project. In addition, all members of the agency which will work on our project must be U.S. citizens. We cannot allow any overseas personnel to work on this project, and we will be asking about this specifically.
