Camera Feed Quality Assessment
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
1. Research of the State-of-the-Art techniques used for assessing image/video quality, such as BRISQUE, NIQE, BLIINDS, DIIVINE and others
2. Development of a concept for detecting the statistical irregularities in the camera’s video feed or image frame
Expected Results:
- Implementation of a hybrid algorithm based on at least three or more image/video quality evaluators
- Implementation of a software component handling the fusion of the multiple assessment scores using C++ and storing the data in a time-series database
- Performance analysis of the implemented software component and comparison of the reliability of the different algorithms used
- Validating the results by performing multiple real-life camera image/video quality tests
Required Skills:
- Good C, C++ and Python programming skills
- Good embedded programming skills
- Familiar with working in Unix/Linux environments
