Basler Pylon software with Python on Raspberry Pi
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I am in need of an experienced image processing engineer with demonstrated competency in working with the Basler camera and Pylon software. The key objective of this project is to establish a comprehensive quality control system to detect certain anomalies within the produced images.
The Specific Tasks included for first milestone:
1. Write a code to collect images using a trigger for the basler camera in raspberry pi, the code is already written, need to adjust it and install necessary libraries.
The Specific Tasks included for second milestone:
1. Detecting color inconsistencies within the given images.
2. Identifying any physical defects present, specifically scratches, blemishes, and cracks.
Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in image processing
- Knowledge of quality control processes
- Experience with addressing color inconsistencies in images
- Proven experience in identifying specific physical defects (scratches, blemishes, and cracks)
- Prior experience using Basler camera and the Pylon software.
The successful candidate should be able to provide examples of similar projects that demonstrate their ability to meet these requirements effectively. Currently I am looking for only the first milestone, if the freelancer is proven to be worthy, I will add them to the project for the second milestone. I have included the code in the attachment.
