• Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs.
• Writing and implementing efficient, high quality and scalable code following best practices.
• Maintaining, upgrading and fixing existing systems/programs.
• Propose and implement scalable architecture when necessary (for senior position).
What the person will do / what their role will be
• As a backend engineer the candidate will be responsible of develop and deliver high quality/scalable code following best practices, fix and/or refactor existing software in an agile framework.
Must Have
• 2+ years of experience with python 3.x (3.5+ years for senior)
• experience consuming and developing REST APIs
• scripting with python
• unit/integration testing experience
• feel comfortable using UNIX style command line
• experience using any cloud provider (AWS, GCP, azure, etc...)
• experience starting projects from scratch (for senior)
• serverless computing solutions (i.e. AWS lambdas or GCP cloud functions)
