Backend Python Developer/Data Engineer
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
*Full-time, permanent, remote job position. Headquarters are located in +8 GMT Time zone*
**What You’ll Do**
-Architect and build data pipelines for EVM-based blockchains and others
-Build APIs on top of abstractions on the data for back-end and front-end engineers to consume
-Assemble internal and external complex web3 and web2 data sets
-Build and optimize queries that power analytics tools, APIs, and other applications in our product ecosystem
-Scale internal infrastructure for both managed and unmanaged services ranging from -Postgres to Kafka to BigQuery
-Be the lead architect for all blockchain integration and potentially manage a team of back-end engineers
-Move fast but be mindful of the key details of our internal engineer user experience
**We’re looking for a team member who has**
-A deep understanding of the EVM, security best practices, and a passion for web3.
-5+ years working in either core back-end architect or data engineering role
-4+ years experience writing in modern languages like Python, Go, etc.
-1+ years working with core blockchain technologies
-Experience using technologies like Kubernetes, Hadoop, Spark, Postgres, Kafka, etc.
-Triple bonus if you’re are familiar with multiple languages, we compensate accordingly.
-Experience working remotely is a nice to have and collaboration tools like Git and Notion.
-You’ve shipped multiple products end-to-end.
-Attention to detail, open-mindedness, and solid problem-solving skills are important

-Previous experience with FinTech, Defi or blockchain-related projects is a plus
-Front-end experience is a huge plus.
-Experience writing smart contracts is a massive plus!
