Project Description:
I am looking for a freelancer to develop a blog aggregator for technology blogs, with the following requirements:
1) Aggregating content from various technology blogs on a daily basis
2) Aggregating and monitoring trending hashtags from social media platforms various technology channels and pages on a daily basis
3) Aggregated content sources, channels and pages should be editable for me to add new ones in future
4) Providing a user-friendly interface for easily accessing and browsing the aggregated content
5) Allowing users to filter and search for specific topics or keywords within the aggregated content
6) Implementing a notification system to alert users of new content or updates
7) Integrating social media sharing options for users to share interesting articles or posts
8) Ensuring the aggregator is scalable and can handle a large number of blogs and content sources
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge and experience in web development, particularly in building content aggregators or similar platforms
- Proficiency in programming languages such as React, PHP, Python, or Ruby
- Familiarity with APIs and web scraping techniques for retrieving and updating content from multiple sources
- Ability to design and develop a user-friendly and visually appealing interface
- Experience in implementing notification systems and social media sharing functionalities
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure the aggregator functions smoothly and efficiently
