BCI & Hardware Integration Specialist
Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR
Job Title:
BCI & Hardware Integration for EEG-Based VR System
Project Overview:
We are developing a brain-computer interface (BCI) prototype to help stroke/paralysis patients interact with a VR environment using EEG signals. We’re using OpenBCI hardware (Ultracortex Mark IV + CytonDaisy board) integrated with a Meta Quest Pro headset. The high-performance laptop is an i9 + RTX 4080.
Responsibilities:
1. Assemble and Calibrate OpenBCI: Ensure the EEG headset is set up correctly and capturing clean signals.
2. Hardware Setup: Integrate the Meta Quest Pro and laptop, ensuring minimal interference with EEG electrodes.
3. Signal Preprocessing: Implement initial filtering and denoising of raw EEG data (e.g., BrainFlow SDK).
4. Documentation: Provide detailed setup instructions, calibration data, and best practices for future reference.
Required Skills/Experience:
• Hands-on experience with OpenBCI or similar EEG systems.
• Understanding of EEG signal acquisition, artifact removal, and basic data analysis.
• Familiarity with hardware integration and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
Deliverables:
• A fully assembled and calibrated BCI system ready for software integration.
• Documentation on hardware setup, calibration, and maintenance.
