BCI Feature Enhancement in Python
Budget: £18 – £36 GBP
I'm seeking an experienced Python developer with a strong background in Machine Learning and EEG data processing to enhance our existing Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) showcase project.
Key Tasks:
- Add Feature Extraction: Implement a feature extraction capability to identify specific emotions on the Valence-Arousal plane (e.g., happy, sad, anxious, angry, excited) in real time.
- Review and Improve Existing Code: Assess and enhance the overall code efficiency of our current implementation that determines power bands, including data normalization/standardization.
- Dev Build Mode with Charts: Show the live stream of EEG activity and any processed data using charts so we can visualise changes.
- Write Tests: Develop tests for all new and improved functionalities.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with Machine Learning
- Familiarity with EEG data and Brainflow
- Strong coding and debugging skills
- Ability to write comprehensive tests
