Azure Function App (Python) To Create PDF out of database records -- 2

Job ID: 37377253

Budget: $250 – $750 CAD

We seek a freelancer who can develop an Azure Function App using Python to create PDFs from Microsoft SQL Server database records.

Database:
- The project requires working with Microsoft SQL Server as the database.
- The records will be driven from multiple SQL server queries
- You need to use the pyodbc library in Python with your sample "SQL connection string," and we will modify it when setting it up in our environment.

PDF Format/Layout:
- The PDF format/layout must be consistent. Hence, I can provide a template, and you can edit that based on your solution.
- Specific database records and fields must be printed in their associated areas on the PDF template.

PDF Lock
- The PDF needs to be locked with a digital signature (the signature image is in a database field Image type and is different for each document).

Trigger
- It must be run based on a daily schedule. This is somehow out of the project's scope, and we will do it by using Microsoft Power Automate. However, we welcome your expertise solution on this as well.

PDF Storage
- The final PDFs must be stored in Sharepoint in folder names driven from their database records.

More Details
- I can not provide you with the environment user accounts. However, you must create a well-documented project so I can set it up in our Azure environment and Sharepoint site.
- It must work on an Azure Funcrion App server. Please do not bid if you have NO experience with the Azure Function environment.
- The lock and encryption part is crucial for auditing purposes.
- On each call, it might need to create multiple PDF files.

Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Python and Azure Function App development.
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Ability to integrate database records into PDF templates and lock them.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate conversion of data into PDFs.
- Automatically generated bids will be ignored.
- You MUST provide technical descriptions of your solution in your bid.
