We are seeking a skilled freelance developer with experience in building fully automated online trading platforms. This project involves creating a platform that can execute our custom trading strategies, handle real-time market data from ICMarkets and cTrader, and run autonomously with minimal oversight. The platform will be built in Python with Django as the core framework, and it must be secure, scalable, and responsive to real-time market fluctuations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strong back-end for the trading platform using Python and Django.
- Integrate ICMarkets and cTrader APIs to gather real-time market data, execute trades, and manage accounts.
- Implement real-time data processing using Websockets and/or REST API integration.
- Build an automated trading system that can execute strategies based on real-time data and respond to market conditions.
- Develop tools for backtesting.
- Design a user-friendly interface with data visualization for performance tracking and strategy management.
- Ensure high levels of security, particularly around API keys, user data, and trading activity.
- Set up database management for historical data and transaction logging.
- Implement scalable deployment using cloud platforms and CI/CD for seamless updates.
Required Skills:
- Python & Django: Extensive experience with Python and Django for back-end development, ORM management, and API handling.
- Real-Time Data Processing: Proficiency in handling real-time data using WebSockets and asynchronous processing.
- API Integration: Strong experience with ICMarkets and cTrader APIs, including trade execution, data retrieval, and account management.
- Algorithmic Trading Knowledge: Familiarity with various trading strategies (e.g., trend following, mean reversion) and the mathematics behind them.
