We seeking a custom-built automation solution to streamline the transcription of audio files. The process should be initiated by adding a new row in Google Sheets and must run without manual intervention from that point forward.
Workflow Overview:
Detect a new row in a specific Google Sheets tab.
Fetch the linked audio file from either Dropbox or Google Drive.
Upload the audio to https://turboscribe.ai and wait for the transcription to complete.
Download the resulting transcript and save it back to the original folder location.
Ideal Skills & Experience:
Experience with browser automation tools (e.g., Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium)
Proficient in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
Solid understanding of Google Sheets, Google Drive, and Dropbox integrations
Ability to create stable, reliable automation without relying on third-party platforms like Zapier
Notes:
There is no API available for TurboScribe, so interaction with the site will require manual automation (e.g., browser automation or scraping techniques).
