Automate a message sending process through whatsapp

I have a barbershop, and as soon as someone makes an appointment through my website, the appointment details are then sent to my google sheets (name, phone number, service and etc)
I need to automatically send this client a confirmation message throught whatsapp on the number that they have provided.
I have tried to use Twilio, but didn't really understand how to do it. I have all the code to parse the information from my google sheet, and send the message. but I can't understand how to properly setup twilio account so it would send a message to any whasapp number
