I am searching for a freelancer to assist in the development of an algorithmic trading strategy, focusing specifically on the stock market. The partnership will involve:
• Developing statistical arbitrage strategies: This is the central focus of the project, and knowledge in this arena is a must. The individual should have experience and skills in successfully pinpointing and profiting from temporary inefficiencies in the market.
• Attempting backtesting and optimization: Although the main focus is on strategy development, it's essential that the freelancer has the ability to backtest and optimize these strategies too.
• Risk management and portfolio analysis: A well-rounded understanding of properly managing risk and portfolio status is necessary. The freelancer will have to use this knowledge and experience to ensure that the strategies developed will not only be profitable but also sensible in terms of risk management.
