AI Agent Software Engineer Needed (Only based Freelancer other will disqualify state or country )
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Flowstate is an AI-first agency helping businesses scale intelligently through the design, build, and deployment of AI agents that automate workflows, improve decision-making, and deliver strategic outcomes.
We’re looking for a highly skilled AI Agent Software Engineer to join us on an ongoing basis. You'll work across both internal projects and client implementations. Several engagements are already journey-mapped and scoped—ready for execution. This is a great opportunity to become a long-term technical partner as we continue to expand rapidly.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and deploy autonomous AI agents using LLMs, APIs, vector databases, and workflow orchestration tools
Review and refine existing scoping documents and system architecture
Set up retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems with memory, context, and role-based agent frameworks
Integrate agents into client ecosystems (Slack, CRMs, emails, calendars, databases, etc.)
Collaborate with our strategy and service design teams to improve agent performance and reliability
Write clean, scalable, well-documented code with appropriate testing protocols
Preferred Tech Stack + Skills:
Strong experience with Python, FastAPI, and LangChain / LlamaIndex
Familiarity with OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Google Gemini, or similar LLM APIs
Experience using Vector DBs (e.g. Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, Chroma)
Hands-on with RAG pipelines, tool use / function calling, and multi-agent orchestration
Knowledge of Docker, Git, and deployment environments (e.g. GCP, AWS, or Vercel)
Comfortable integrating with REST APIs and third-party SaaS tools (Slack, Notion, HubSpot, etc.)
Understanding of agent frameworks like CrewAI, AutoGen, LangGraph, or OpenAgents a plus
Bonus: Experience with prompt engineering, agent memory/state handling, or human-in-the-loop systems
What We’re Looking For:
Strong technical foundation + problem-solving mindset
Autonomous, reliable, and able to deliver clean, production-ready code
Clear communicator—comfortable working in async and structured environments
Ideally based in Australia or similar timezone (AEST/AWST), but we’re open to other locations if the fit is strong
Interest in ongoing work and becoming a key part of our growing engineering team
Why Work With Us:
Work on real business problems, not just prototypes
Clear scope and documentation—our clients are prepared
Partner with a forward-thinking, growing agency
Opportunity for long-term work as we scale our AI practice
To Apply:
Please share:
A short intro about your experience with AI agents
Links to past work (GitHub, portfolio, or case studies)
Your availability and location/timezone
