We're building a self-serve onboarding system that enables businesses to launch intelligent assistants with minimal human involvement—and we’re looking for a skilled engineer to help bring this vision to life.
Role Overview
As an AI Onboarding Engineer, you’ll be responsible for building and refining the systems that allow customers to onboard quickly and independently. You will design intuitive front-end flows and robust back-end automation to ensure agents are deployed accurately and efficiently, with minimal support. You'll work closely with product, AI engineers, and customer success to enhance the setup process, integrate 3rd-party tools, and track performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain the customer onboarding portal (UI + API logic)
Automate workflows for agent deployment, calendar integration, and voice/chat configuration
Implement feedback tools, error handling, and testing environments for onboarding flows
Collaborate with design and AI teams to ensure seamless user experience
Integrate external services (e.g., Twilio, Google Calendar, CRM tools)
Monitor onboarding success rates and continuously optimize for frictionless setup
Required Skills
3+ years experience in full-stack development (Node.js, Python, React/Vue)
Experience with APIs and integrations (e.g., Twilio, Zapier, RESTful services)
Familiarity with cloud services (Firebase, AWS, or similar)
Strong understanding of web security, error handling, and testing practices
Bonus: experience with conversational AI platforms (Dialogflow, Rasa, GPT integrations)
