AWS Lambda Domain WHOIS Function
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a skilled developer to create a Python-based AWS Lambda function that receives a domain name as an input, returns WHOIS data, and outputs it in JSON format.
This is meant to be a very simple project.
Here are my detailed requirements:
**Core Responsibilities:**
- Develop an AWS Lambda function that works with Python 3.12
- Retrieve WHOIS data for various domains (if the domain exists)
- You can use the Python library WHOIS or any other but include it in the code.
- Output the WHOIS data in JSON format
- The coder must provide a zip file containing all code, including the libraries, so it can be uploaded to AWS and ready to run.
- I won't be able to provide access to any AWS resources. However, the coder can use the AWS Free Tiers.
- An API Gateway will call this function. However, the API Gateway is outside of this scope.
**Ideal Skills:**
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with AWS Lambda
- Ability to work with JSON output
**Application Requirement:**
- Highlight relevant experience
Looking forward to reviewing the experiences of enthusiastic and capable developers for a successful collaboration on this project.
