Create thorough documentation and provide support to clients integrating with the API.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in API development to continually improve the quality and efficiency of our API solution.
Requirements:
Previous experience developing APIs that were made available for clients to access.
Strong proficiency in API development and integration, including authentication and data management.
Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for API development (e.g., Python, Node.js, Ruby, Java).
Familiarity with databases and data storage options suitable for hosting sports data.
Solid understanding of web services and RESTful API design principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and provide technical support to clients.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of sports data and statistics.
Experience with cloud-based hosting solutions, such as AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with data transformation tools or frameworks.
