What We’re Looking For
We’re building a backend for a confidential SaaS platform in the data processing and CRM automation space. We're looking for a skilled backend/API developer to support our MVP build.
You’ll be responsible for:
Designing and implementing REST APIs
Creating a structured backend for data validation, scoring, and routing
Setting up webhook and CRM integration endpoints
Working with a product manager and frontend dev to ship clean, secure, and testable code
Technical Requirements
We’re flexible on stack, but ideally you're proficient in:
Python (FastAPI) or Node.js (Express)
Firebase or PostgreSQL
RESTful API development and documentation
Integrating external APIs (email/SMS services, CRM endpoints)
Basic data validation / business logic processing
What You'll Deliver
A documented API (v1) with:
POST endpoint to receive structured data
Validation and transformation layer
Webhook for CRM or external system delivery
Secure cloud-hosted backend (preferably GCP or AWS)
Integration with 2–3 external APIs (you will be guided)
Lightweight admin endpoint or logging interface (if needed)
Ideal Profile
4+ years backend/API experience
Comfortable working with minimal guidance but regular updates
Excellent written communication (Slack + Notion)
Previous work on data validation, CRMs, or workflow tools (a plus)
Budget
Open to hourly or milestone-based pricing
