Seeking Publishing Expert

Hello,
I have a manuscript I'm wrapping up regarding the Everglades (cover attached). It basically touches on the habitat loss and poor water only making the book more fun and adventurous rather than too didactic or preachy.
What I need now is someone that has connections with several traditional publishers who is willing to make the connection. I don't care to waste time chasing my tail waiting six months to a year just to be rejected. I will self-publish if I have to, but I do believe this books offers the whole package when it comes to making learning fun while also offering some very eye catching illustrations to boot. So for now I'd like to shoot for traditional. If the process starts taking too long then I will publish myself.
