Publishing Technology Manager Needed
Budget: $50,000 – $100,000 USD
I'm seeking an experienced Publishing Technology Manager to join my client’s team on-site in New Rochelle. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our production team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Leading a team of support specialists to ensure performance, training, and alignment with business objectives
- Supervising the resolution of issues concerning Adobe InDesign, plugins, and production workflows
- Establishing and executing best practices for documentation and support procedures
- Collaborating with Adobe and third-party vendors on complex technical matters
- Facilitating onboarding, access setup, and training for new team members and vendors
- Monitoring key support metrics and ensuring compliance with service level agreements
- Keeping abreast of Creative Cloud tools and providing team training accordingly
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of experience with a focus on team management in digital publishing or EdTech environments
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Creative Cloud, and production tools
- Familiarity with support workflows, ticketing systems, and cross-functional coordination
- Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and exemplary leadership qualities
- Knowledge of Windows/macOS environments; scripting expertise (e.g., JavaScript for InDesign) is advantageous.
