Making figures suitable for publication

In preparing a manuscript for publication I used the printouts from the computer program for the figures. I was told (correctly) that these were not high enough quality for publication. They have the correct information on them, they just look awful. I need two figures to be redone in a professional looking format. It is a small job with only two figures.
